Add missing trails

Draw a route, import GPX or GeoJSON, build from waypoints, or pull candidates from OpenStreetMap.

Suggest trail edits

Update names, difficulty, surface, width, photos, descriptions, and reviewer notes.

Merge duplicates

Select duplicate trail segments, preview the joined geometry, and send the cleanup for review.

Add bike places

Submit bike parks, BMX courses, pump tracks, parking, viewpoints, and other useful POIs.

Reviewed before publishing

Every submission goes through RidePal review before it appears in the trail database.

Earn contributor rewards

Progress toward free RidePal Pro after 25 approved trail contributions.

Common questions

How do I submit a missing mountain bike trail?

Sign in, choose New Trail, capture or import the trail geometry, add the trail details, and submit it for RidePal review.

Can I edit an existing trail?

Yes. Use Edit Trail in the portal or a trail page's Fix this trail link to suggest corrections to details, photos, or geometry.

Can I upload GPX or GeoJSON files?

Yes. The portal accepts common line geometry files for trail submissions, including GPX, KML, GeoJSON, and JSON.

Are submissions reviewed?

Yes. Trail edits, new routes, merges, and POIs go through RidePal review before they appear in the public trail database.

Do contributions count toward rewards?

Approved trail contributions count toward contributor progress, including the current free RidePal Pro reward after 25 approved submissions.
